Mission-Fueled and Road-Ready: Two New Buses Purchased After campaign Success

As the 2024–2025 school year came to a close, Bladen County Released Time found itself facing a growing challenge—reliable and safe transportation for the students we serve. Throughout the year, we experienced a number of mechanical issues and the effects of general wear and tear on our vehicles, resulting in the rescheduling and canceling of many Released Time classes. These obstacles not only created logistical

difficulties but also impacted our ability to consistently reach the students who depend on Released Time classes to hear the life-changing message of the Gospel.

With over 50% of students enrolled in our Released Time program coming from unchurched backgrounds, the urgency became undeniable. Reliable transportation isn’t just a matter of convenience—it’s a lifeline to spiritual hope. Every mile traveled is an opportunity to bring a young heart closer to the truth of God's Word. Recognizing this critical need, we knew it was time to act boldly.

In July 2025, we launched the “Fuel the Mission” Bus Campaign, a community-driven effort to raise the necessary funds to purchase new, dependable buses that would safely transport students across Bladen County to and from their Released Time classes. Our vision was simple but powerful: ensure that no student is hindered from hearing the Gospel due to lack of transportation.

The response from our community has been nothing short of miraculous.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of local churches, individual donors, and ministry partners, we are overjoyed to share that we raised $15,267.43—enough to purchase two buses that will significantly expand our reach and impact. These new vehicles will allow us to operate with greater reliability, safety, and consistency as we carry out our mission.

This is more than just a transportation update—it’s a testimony of what God can do when His people unite for a common purpose. Every dollar given, every prayer offered, and every mile driven is a declaration of faith that the Gospel still transforms lives.
