Because Every Student Deserves to Hear the name of Jesus

Across Bladen County, God is doing something incredible through Released Time Bible classes—and lives are being changed for eternity.

Today, approximately 50% of all students enrolled in Released Time are unchurched, with some schools seeing that number rise to 68%. These students may never attend church, never open a Bible at home, and never hear the name of Jesus—except during Released Time. For many, this class isn’t just a break from routine—it’s their only connection to the Gospel.

And what’s happening in those moments is nothing short of miraculous.

In the 2023–2024 school year alone, 1,040 students attended Released Time across Bladen County—and 106 of them made the decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. That’s 106 young people stepping into a relationship with the living God. That’s 106 eternal destinies forever changed.
